Challenge
Design and develop a solution for the U.S. and Canadian markets that allows consumers to pay in a cryptocurrency and merchants to get paid in a fiat currency.
Outcome
The project is developed to deliver a comprehensive software platform for crypto payments. It supports an end-to-end business process from crypto invoicing to settlement in fiat currencies with merchants. The platform meets the AML and KYC requirements of the US and Canadian regulators. It ensures a secure and fast transaction processing, taking into account the limitations and characteristics of certain blockchain networks such as the speed of confirmations, blockchains fees, the network congestion, exchange rate volatility, etc.
The solution includes a cloud-native high-performance backend and iOS and Android mobile applications for merchants. The mobile applications support the following features: QR code invoice generation, actual market exchange rate and real-time transaction status tracking.
To ensure a seamless real-time business process, the solution has been integrated with a number of external services such as: AML, KYB/KYC and KYT providers, custody, liquidity pools, exchanges and merchant management system.
